Icon - Daan

Uit het prachtige album Manhay van Daan komt nu de wel heel erg aan Johnny Cash schatplichtige single Icon, waarop Daan op het ritme van een galopperend paard over helden en heldendom zingt. Ik vind het een hypnotiserend nummer, en het is zeker één van de beste songs op het album, en dus ook een prima single-keuze. En te zien aan de clip is Daan nog steeds geïntrigeerd door oude Nilfisk stofzuigers (zie ook Swedish designer drugs)
